Kenneth Kline Ken was appointed Budget Director on November 26, 2007. He began his career in budgeting and financial management as an economist with the City of Akron where he served from 1993 to 1997. After working for the Columbus Consolidated Government from 1997 to 1998 as a financial analyst, Ken left the public sector to join Ceridian Corporation where he worked his way up to District Vice President for Implementation and Customer Care. In 2004, Ken left Ceridian and joined Cornell University as Business Systems and Financial Planning Manager where he remained until coming to Northern Kentucky University in 2007. Ken holds MBA degrees from Cornell University and from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. He also holds a M.A. in Economics from The Ohio State University and a B.A. in Economics from Xavier University. Ken lives in Union, Kentucky, with his wife and two children and is a member of St. Timothy's Parish. | |

Kim Schave Kim joined NKU in October of 2008 as a Budget Analyst. Her background includes over 15 years’ experience in public accounting and non-profit accounting with emphasis in higher education budget administration. She has held budget-related positions with both the University of Cincinnati and the University of Toledo and has five years’ experience teaching accounting and business management classes at Indiana Business College, Middle Georgia Technical College and the University of Cincinnati-Clermont College. In addition, she spent six years in the Ohio Army National Guard as a Military Police officer. Kim holds a B.B.A. degree in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and an M.A. degree in Religion from Concordia Theological Seminary. She maintains an active CPA license in the state of Ohio. Kim resides in Milford with her husband, Steve, a pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church, and their four children--Rachel, Sarah, Leah and Luke. |
