Katie Bontrager Katie Bontrager was named Executive Director of Institutional Research and Analysis in May 2010. She brings nearly 20 years of higher education administrative/consulting experience across a broad spectrum of university functions, including enrollment management, financial aid, admissions and finance. Prior to NKU, Dr. Bontrager served as Vice President of Sales/Marketing for Sallie Mae and holds administrative experience from Columbus State Community College and Sinclair Community College. She has won numerous awards, secured federal grants and has served in various leadership positions at the local, state and national level. Dr. Bontrager received her doctorate degree in educational leadership and administration from Ohio University, a Master of Science degree in educational administration from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and finance from Wilmington College. Katie resides in Loveland, Ohio, with her family. |

Angela Calhoun Angela Calhoun joined the Office of Institutional Research as Data Innovation Manager in February 2011. She began her career at Northern Kentucky University in 2006 as part of the implementation team of SAP, the university's software for business and student systems. Angela's background includes extensive administration experience of technology, operations and reporting in both the public and private sectors. Prior to her arrival at NKU, Angela was the Director of Sales Services/Operations at Shire US Inc., a specialty biopharmaceutical company. Angela holds a M.B.A. degree from Northern Kentucky University and was the 2010-2011 recipient of the Compton Allyn Outstanding MBA Student Award. Her undergraduate focus was in organizational systems technology and business education. Angela resides in Independence, Kentucky, with her family. |

Erin Mulligan-Nguyen Erin Mulligan-Nguyen joined the Office of Institutional Research as a Graduate Assistant in September 2006. In May 2009, she transitioned into the role of Institutional Research Analyst and was promoted to Manager in August 2010. Erin holds a Master of Science degree in industrial-organizational psychology from Northern Kentucky University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from the University of Kentucky. Erin resides in Walton, Kentucky, with her husband, Joe, and daughter, Haley.

Stacey Seiter Stacey Seiter joined the Office of Institutional Research as an Institutional Research Analyst in November 2010. Prior to her arrival at NKU, Stacey served as a Clinical Research Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, Department of Psychiatry, as well as a Custom Market Research Specialist with The Nielsen Company. Stacey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Kentucky. Stacey resides in Northern Kentucky with her husband, Joe, and their dog, Kenzie. |

Kelsey Bevins Kelsey Bevins joined the Office of Institutional Research as a Graduate Assistant in August 2009. In July 2011, she transitioned into the role of Institutional Research Analyst. Kelsey is involved in a variety of projects and tasks as an analyst, however she acquired a wealth of experience and expertise over the past few years working directly with surveys, such as the NKU Senior Survey. Kelsey holds a Master of Science degree in community counseling and a graduate certificate in College Student Development from Northern Kentucky University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies from Eastern Kentucky University. |

Whitney Kessinger Whitney Kessinger joined the Office of Institutional Research as a Graduate Assistant in May 2011. In September 2011, she transitioned into the role of Institutional Research Analyst. Whitney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Kentucky, and is currently pursuing her Master of Science degree in industrial-organizational psychology at NKU. |

Dale Mahaney Dale Mahaney joined the Office of Institutional Research as a Systems Analyst in February 2012. He began his career at Northern Kentucky University in 1992 as a Programmer Analyst in the Office of Information Technology. Dale holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Morehead State University. Dale resides in Florence, Kentucky with his family. |
