Scope

The University Survey Committee’s scope includes any broad sampling of a university population that involves direct requests to individuals for information.

Surveys reviewed by the Committee may be addressed to any part of the university community and may address topics including academic performance, campus life, administration, work life, and environmental issues.

The Committee’s scope includes surveys managed by outside agencies but addressed to campus populations.

The Committee’s scope does not include academic research conducted by faculty.
